Job Shadowing Mentor
CBS Connects is looking for companies and individuals that are willing to be hosts for high school student job shadowing experiences. Students in grades 10-12 are encouraged to complete a job shadowing experience during their high school career in order to gain knowledge and insight into a day in the life a of a professional in the career field of their interest. Students are able to complete full or half day job shadowing experiences.
As a Job Shadowing Mentor you would have a student shadow you at your place of employment to learn more about your day-to-day job responsibilities as well as your education and background. We want students to get a realistic snap shot of the job conditions and responsibilities.
If you are interested in possibly providing a job shadowing experience to a high school aged student that is interested in your career field please contact CBS Coordinator, Chuck Caldwell, via email at to set up a meeting.
