About Me: Growing up I didn’t think college was for me, as my family was very poor and no one had gone before. I did not have any guidance on navigating the process, but I realized it was a way I could change my life and get away from the circumstances of which I grew up. Being someone that helps students navigate the college process and shows them what opportunities they have is very rewarding to me. Since education is the one gift that cannot be taken away, I believe it can have the biggest impact on a person’s life.
