High School College and Career Exploration Field Trips

Tendon Manufacturing (September 28, 2018)

12th grade students from the Welding Program will have the opportunity to visit Tendon Manufacturing in small groups to learn more about their company as well as their internship program available to them.

Cleveland State University Engineering Program (October 2, 2018)

11th Grade Students from Valley Forge High Schools Engineering program will be visiting the Cleveland State University campus, specifically to learn more about the Engineering Program at CSU.  Students will participate in a campus tour, Engineering Program Tour, Hands on Activities, and Lunch.

Cleveland State University Engineering Program (October 17, 2018)

12th Grade Students from Parma Senior High Schools Engineering program will be visiting the Cleveland State University campus, specifically to learn more about the Engineering Program at CSU.  Students will participate in a campus tour, Engineering Program Tour, Hands on Activities, and Lunch.

11th Grade Students from Normandy High Schools Engineering program will be visiting the Cleveland State University campus, specifically to learn more about the Engineering Program at CSU.  Students will participate in a campus tour, Engineering Program Tour, Hands on Activities, and Lunch.

SPARK STEM Goes Red for Girls (November 2, 2018)

8th and 9th grade girls enrolled in our Engineering Pathway will have the opportunity to attend the SPARK STEM Conference that takes place annually downtown.  This exciting event gets girls motivated to pursue careers in STEM with guest speakers and hands on activities.

Ohio CPA Accounting Day (November 14, 2018)

Students from the Business Management Program will have the opportunity to visit the Ohio CPA Accounting Day held annually at Cleveland State University to learn more about accounting careers.

7th Grade GET WISE EVENT (May 16, 2019)

A total of 108 7th Grade Girls from Hillside, Shiloh, and Greenbriar Middle Schools will have the opportunity to participate in the Get WISE (Women in Science and Engineering) event at General Motors Parma.  The girls will be motivated and inspired by female engineers, participate in hands on activities, receive a tour of the plant, and have a chance to win prizes.
